Around the Village

Our village is small, with under 200 inhabitants currently. The closure of the branchline and the village station saw the demise of a once bustling village.  During its heyday there was a La Poste, Boulangerie, Bar, Hotel and Wine Merchants in le Grande Rue, but these have all since closed down.  The Mairie has taken up residence in the old ticket office in the station yard; and doubles as a small post office in the mornings.  Recently the hotel has re-opened as a Chambre de Hotes.
